Congratulations on the purchase of your new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system! When you replace your HVAC system with M.E. Flow, we register your warranty and help you maintain your system to keep your manufactures warranty valid. In this post, we will share some tips and let you know what you need to do to keep your HVAC system in tip-top shape so you can enjoy your new comfort system for many years!

Don’t Forget the Required Maintenance

Many homeowners who have replaced their heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system sometimes forget the required maintenance and later have problems. Please review the following information to help ensure you keep your manufactures warranty valid and your new HVAC equipment operating at peak efficiency.

HVAC contractors and manufacturers say the key to keeping your system operating at peak efficiency and performance today–and down the road, is routine maintenance. Regardless of the A/C contractor, you purchased your heating and cooling system from M.E. Flow wants you to enjoy your new HVAC system for many years.

The number one reason for service problems —which lead to repair bills and system failure— is dirt due to lack of maintenance.

Regular service performed on a new HVAC system will provide:

  • Protection of your warranty
  • Prolong the life of your equipment
  • Lower your energy bills
  • Plus, help identify and fix minor problems before they become BIGGER problems!!

Service Agreement Maintenance Plans

Service plans are a smart way to maintain the warranty requirements of your HVAC system. Consider a service agreement with M.E. Flow if you don’t already have one. Our service plans typically include a heating and AC tune-up—plus a host of other perks and benefits.

For specific maintenance requirements for your new HVAC system, refer to the manufacturer’s manual and remember that different heating and cooling equipment types require particular maintenance. Such as, the upkeep for a boiler differs from a heat pump, furnace/A/C system.

Generally speaking, your HVAC system needs maintenance service two times a year. For the warmer months, you’ll need an A/C tune-up for your air conditioning system, and for the cold season, you will need a Heating tune-up. If you recently replaced your HVAC, furnace, or AC system, you should be okay for the next 12 months before you need your first tune-up.

HVAC Maintenance Reminder Service

What our customers like best about our service agreement plans is they never forget to maintain their system because we remind them! You will receive a reminder notification when your system is due for service.
